Colt Single Action Army, Robert Burt Factory Master Engraved
Excellent Bob Burt Factory Colt Master engraved 3rd generation Single Action Army. This masterpiece by one of Colt’s most accomplished engravers features “B” coverage scroll on the frame, barrel, cylinder, triggerguard, and backstrap. Gold inlaid bands on the barrel, ejector tube, and rear of cylinder complement the engraving and the gold inlaid Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Revolver features perfectly fitting Colt factory fleur-de-lis checkered rosewood stocks and is finished in Colt’s Royal Blue and color case. Completing the revolver is Mr. Burt’s signature, prominently featured on the underside of the barrel.
Burt’s career at Colt began in the early 1970’s and he continued to produce his art through the 1990’s with Colt and also independently. This revolver includes a Colt Archive Letter confirming all specifications done through Colt.
This revolver remains in near new condition, and would be an excellent addition to any collection of engraved Colts by one of Colt’s most celebrated artists.
