Scarce, factory engraved & original finish Colt .380 Pocket Hammerless. Pistol retains a fair amount of original blue & fire blue on appropriate parts for time period of production. Most pronounced loss of finish on front strap & grip safety. Engraving is sharp & clear throughout, with about 25% coverage distributed throughout. Original stocks and magazine. Mechanically sound.

Factory letter included confirming original, factory engraving. According to The Book of Colt Firearms, only approximately 225 of this model were engraved by the Colt factory, representing only 0.16% of production of the model.

Overall, a used but well preserved example of an early 20th century factory engraved Colt with very limited engraved production.
